Pokemon Sculptures!

Check out these Pokemon Sculptures I made!

Bulbasaur

and Charmander

I made them for a friend! I really enjoy sculpting a lot. I wish I had time to do this more. These are made out of Super Sculpey, tin foil, and wire. They are painted with Acrylic paint with an acrylic, protective varnish over-coat. Matte for the skin and glossy for the eyes .. though Charmander came out pretty shiny despite the matte varnish. The most challenging part was getting the proportions of the characters as close as I could to "correct". They each took awhile to make, but I'm very happy with the results :)

I might try to make more sculpture type things and sell them online ... but I'm not sure. Hmm

Digital Paintings: Body Positive and Blankets

I'm really happy with these two little pieces. I'm excited for when I have an opportunity to do another illustration in a similar way.

Dragon-sona

Mike Laughead started a dragonsona blog on tumblr. So I had to do a dragonsona for myself. I would be a white and gold dragon who lives in a volcano, and collects assorted gem stones, minerals, and crystals :D

Ghibli Jam

My submission for this year's Ghibli Jam! Castle in the Sky is one of my all time favorite Ghibli movies. It was hard choosing between Totoro, Castle in the Sky, Princess Mononoke, and Spirited Away, but Castle in the Sky is one of those movies where I love almost every single character. It's written in a way that I really enjoy and ... idk everything about it is just great. I almost drew Dola because she is just amazing ... but the robots are too cute so I had to draw one with Sheeta.

Digital Painting: Summons

I pulled a lot of inspiration from Journey (the game) for this one. It's one of the most amazing games I've ever played hands down.

Digital Painting: Drift and Leap

Two experiments in coloring / style. I really like these.
