I've been in a really bad mood lately. For the past 2 weeks, I've been annoyed, and irritable. Everything seemed like it was just stupid and dumb. But, this weekend I've had some time to myself and I've finally shaken all the badness off. All is well.

Spot Illustration: Barbershop Tigers

Fact: Tigers have striped skin.

In my styles and concepts class we had to choose a 'factoid' and then illustrate the idea the factoid talked about. My factoid was that tigers have striped skin. Many ideas came up, but this is what I settled on. It was the most fun, and happy idea I had, so I went with it. I really enjoyed this one. I spent a whole day working on it, making sure everything was just how I wanted it .. and I neglected other homework in the process, but who cares. C.F. Payne loved it (My Teacher), and so did my classmates ... which made me really energetic and happy for the rest of the day. This isn't my typical style, but it's definitely something I like and am working on. I wouldn't say I'm changing my style, but developing two styles.

It's been a good day! I've also got a lot done with my 3rd animation homework assignment. I don't like it as much as the Earth Bender. It can only be 72 frames long (3 seconds) and it's REALLY constricting. I want to do so much more but I can't. It's like being trapped in a box.

I'll be uploading that when it's finished. But for now enjoy the tigers :)

Ok so here's my final animation for my second assignment. I'm happy with it, but I also want to do so much more with it. I got to touch it up before class started, but it wasn't nearly enough time to really make it how I wanted it to be.

For now enjoy the bending of earth.
I love animating! ... I kind of wish it was my major instead of illustration ... kind of ..

Journal Comic & Digital Painting: Jocelyn and Coffee Hiatus

Today I had class at 8 A.M. and so I had to wake up at 6:30 A.M. ... it was painful. All in all a good day though. I have a new illustration assignment to be working on that involves tigers at the barber shop. Anyway, here's a journal comic, and a fun doodle. Now, I can't decide if I want to draw, read Harry Potter, or play God of War .... hrr decisions.

Hey anyone!

I'm giving this whole blogspot thing a chance. I realize how many artists have blogs so it's become apparent that I need to follow their example. I'm going upload art, and animation once I figure out how to upload those files. And now I can follow all of these cool people who do amazing art as well. Yay!
