Thesis Work: Archie's Design

Now that I'm a senior I've started thinking about my thesis. I'll be graduating next December, and I have (basically) one year to complete my thesis. I've been playing with a few ideas for an entire semester, and after exploring other options I think I'm going to settle on my very first idea. This is my main character, Archie. (I animated him awhile ago in a walk cycle). These are some quick studies of me figuring out his overall look. I really enjoyed this! Playing with proportion is fun :)

T-Shirt Design: Ballerina Character Designs

A little further down on my blog you'll see some ballerina sketches. I've been working on this idea for a T-Shirt design for a friend of mine. The first image is a scan of some head studies. My client chose the two heads she liked most and I applied her selection to the pink and red ballerinas. I don't know which one will end up on the T-Shirt but one of them will get used and it's REALLY exciting!
